Brno has spoken – How we gained thousands of votes for the Dáme na vás 2023 project

Do you have an idea on how to make the city of Brno a better place? Make it a reality! This is the idea behind the participatory budgeting project Dáme na vás, which Brno has been implementing annually since 2017.

In 2023 , we had the honor to be involved in its complete promotion – again. Here’s how we approached this year’s campaign.

The idea is the heart of the campaign

Every proper marketing campaign stands on a strong idea. Original, interesting, meaningful, and above all, meticulously thought out to the last detail.

We came up with such an idea – we literally put Brno into the hands of its citizens, who are involved in its transformation.

We created planet Brno, a unique concept that encompassed the entire campaign and can be adapted for various target groups, formats and campaign phases.

Three is the charm: Three phases, three visuals

Submitting as many projects as possible. Gathering support. Voting for the winners. The current goals of the Dáme na vás campaign depend on the phase it is in. And the promotion must correspond to this without deviating from the overall concept. We helped with that too.

Culture or sports? No drama – we tailored our campaigns for every audience

Families with children? We captured their interest. Sports fans? Absolutely! Culture lovers who want to contribute to its development? We have a customized format for them too. We tailored the visuals precisely according to the target audience to ensure everyone found something appealing.

Our graphics department took it into their own hands – and this is how they handled it.

Be always in sight

How to reach as many city residents as possible? Through street advertising, of course! Whether in trams, cars or on foot, wherever the people of Brno went, they encountered our ads at every turn, be it large CLV and banners, MHD wraps, or smaller ads in print media.

And the cherry on top, merchandise design – because everyone loves gifts. We printed the Dáme na vás project on gift bags, socks, tissues, tea bags and much more. How better to support an advertising campaign than by giving things for free that easily and cheaply spread your brand?

We captured everything in the best light

Our photographers and videomakers ran around events related to the entire project – we were there for ribbon cuttings, groundbreaking ceremonies, champagne popping, glass clinking and more.

We documented every important moment so that campaign fans wouldn’t miss a thing and could experience every moment as if they were part of it. What better proof is there that the project works than a report directly from the field? See how we did it.







Results that speak for themselves

Thanks to our campaign, Dáme na vás received 128 submitted projects and over 30 thousand votes from 17 thousand voters. Only two of the previous years were more successful – the project launch and the year of 2020, which was also under our direction.

An advertising campaign spread across multiple channels works like a carefully arranged mosaic. Assembling it is an art – and this is precisely the art we master.

We collaborated with KREJTA Solutions, s.r.o. on the participatory budgeting project ‘Dáme na Vás’ in 2020 and were very satisfied with them.
