How we increased sales by 55% and entered the Czech market

We set out on a joint journey with Gugenio, a manufacturer of children’s shoes, in 2022. We helped it enter the Czech market and tread the path to success.

And what do we do for them? We create posts and ads for social networks, prepare PPC ads, help build awareness and a brand using e-mailing, affiliates and cooperation with micro-influencers. In short, we make sure that everything runs smoothly.

Who is Gugenio?

Gugenio produces and sells high-quality hand-sewn children’s shoes and slippers. It places great emphasis not only on comfort, but also on the healthy development of feet. The boots use natural materials, that absorb moisture and adapt to the shape of the foot, and the flexible soles provide support for the feet.

The company is based on the RAK brand, which originated in Slovakia, where it has been operating under this name for over thirty years. The boots have successfully passed through many generations.

We build a community

We make sure that customers know that there is no boredom with Gugenie – on the contrary! We have dedicated ourselves to creating fun and interesting content, but we also do not skimp on useful tips and information.

We are playful and friendly – in our posts on social networks, in advertisements and in e-mailing. We focus on pleasant relationships that we gradually build and deepen, thus gaining long-term audiences. And we do not forget about authentic content – real mothers, grandmothers and, above all, children who run and play in our shoes.

We think about customers. For them too

Has Péta’s leg grown again? Anička is starting kindergarten? What will Jiřík wear in the winter? We think of everything, including our customers.

With regular personalized e-mails we remind them not to forget to buy winter boots, summer sandals, or even slippers for kindergarten. This way, we anticipate their needs. We also target specific customer groups in this way in our advertisements.

We connected micro-legs with micro-influencers

„She’s happily running around the garden again. Those new shoes suit her very well, she looks really happy in them… Where did Amálka get them from?“ That’s exactly the kind of reaction our partnership with micro-influencers evokes.

We work with mothers and their children who really like the products – and are happy to recommend them to others. They help us spread the word in their communities and show us the shoes and slippers as they are really used. Running around the playground or at home in the living room.

We work with joy

… and also with love. In short, with a lot of positive emotions that we have in our viewfinder and hidden between the lines. We capture and evoke them through all the content we create for Gugenio. They are reflected in our photos and videos, where we let children be children, – and thus we capture them and their shoes right in action. And joy, fun and playfulness are also reflected in the texts and graphics.

Customer satisfaction is key to us

That’s why we were looking for a way to unlock it. Even more, even better. We are pleased to have found a way to take it to the next level.

We shortened the wait for new shoes

Previously, shoes were only made to order. However, if more than one was ordered at once, it often caused production to be overwhelmed, which led to longer delivery times and customer dissatisfaction. Therefore, we recommended the creation of warehouse stocks, thanks to which customer comfort increased. Everything started to go smoothly and positive reviews were not long in coming.

We added little things to improve the mood

Gugenio wants to be not only a supplier for children and parents, but also a partner and friend. To bring along with the booties a smile and  pleasant experiences. That’s why we came up with the idea to support the joy and enthusiasm of our customers even more with small gifts that they will find in their order. We prepared beautiful coloring books or balloons for them.

And the results? They speak for themselves

We are pleased that our work is bearing fruit. The shoes are selling like clockwork and the satisfaction of shoppers is also evidenced by the Verified by customers and Golden Verified by customers badges on the Heuréka portal. But it is not only retail that is growing, wholesale sales with partners are hot on its heels.
