Every year the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts (JAMU) organizes an international festival of theatre schools for the transfer of experience and knowledge between theatre schools. Hundreds of students and teachers have been using this opportunity for a long time.
A festival of this calibre absolutely needs a unique information system that provides all relevant information to all parties involved.
The festival website should not look complicated. At first glance, it should be a simple structure that allows visitors to find what they need in the shortest possible time. It doesn't matter if it's buying tickets, finding out the programme or an overview of the participants. All information must be exactly where visitors expect it.
A large part of the information system consists of work with files. Each theatre company has its own performance schedule. To make it easier for visitors to find the performance times of their favourite theatre companies, we have added a performance schedule to the information about them for quicker orientation.
If you're looking for the show you're most looking forward to, you don't want to waste your time searching. You want to get the most important information quickly and clearly in one place. A summary programme with everything you need to know will help you do that.
If you want to tell visitors everything they need to know, they need to know what they can find. An intuitive interface, functional elements, quality layout and content structure are the main things you can't do without. What's more, is the website nice to look at? That's the juicy cherry on top!
